Developing your Style and Creativity (Start Creating)
This coaching session is designed for students who are equipped with an existing practice with either drawing or painting and are looking to develop their own original works. The aim of the session is to enable students to develop their work through discussion, expand their knowledge of artists and artworks while paving their way to entering the elusive art industry.
The session also emphasises an interdisciplinary approach to learning, which allows you to discover and experiment with varied and often contrasting methodologies in the development of your works. As it is the preliminary stage of your artistic journey, the sessions are aiding in your search for a unique creative voice and to understand the use of materials and art processes confidently enough to operate at a higher level.
Start Creating coaching session is recommended if you:
- Already have an existing practice that includes painting.
- Require support in development of ideas.
- Explore aspects of painting practice which are rarely addressed outside formal art education.
- Have an open attitude that will enable experimental approaches that will produce unexpected results.
- Need a space to reflect on and expand your painting practice.
- Ask yourself “what is my next step?”
Learning outcomes
- PRODUCTION: Produce work at an advanced level that integrates thought, creativity and technique.
- EXPERIMENTATION: Experiment in the use of materials, techniques and environments in order to translate ideas into practice.
- SKILLS: Display a mastery of the technical skills required in the creation, display and documentation of your work.
We always limit each of our sessions to no more than 10 students, allowing our coaches to work closely with every student and provide individual guidance.
Coaching Fee
* One-off trial session 试课 (2 hrs): SGD 30
* Single session 1节课 : SGD 60
* 4 sessions package (Once a week) 4节课配套 (一星期一次) (2 hrs/session): SGD 220
* Fees include in-house art materials.
* No registration Fee
* Once reservation is made, no cancellation is allowed
